Have you ever heard someone describe themselves as feeling “off” or unbalanced? Nothing is tangibly wrong yet you aren’t at peace? Well, as it turns out there’s a BIG reason for that! Or should I say 7 reasons. We’re going to take you through a wide-angle view of the 7 main chakras, what they are, and quick tips on how to keep them aligned. Stay tuned as we explore each chakra in depth in the coming weeks!
The BasicsThere are 7 main chakras throughout our bodies that act as “energy centers.” They run in a straight line from the base of our spine to the top of our head. Each chakra emits a different energy to make us feel whole and harmonious when they are all “unblocked.” But sometimes they are blocked, especially in times of stress, uncertainty, and well…2020 (need I say more). We have a range of 7 chakra products for overall balance that we LOVE for their beautiful colors and transformative effects.
1. Root ChakraWhen our root chakra, located at the tail of our spine, is unblocked, we feel grounded and stable. This is where we get the energy to have ambition and reach for our goals. If you’re feeling a lack of confidence at work or toward making decisions, try smudging with our sage for prosperity as your focus your intention toward success and accomplishment.
2. Sacral ChakraThis chakra is located in our lower abdomen and drives our creativity and passion. This could be at work, at home, mentally, or sexually. A lack of vision and inspiration can be extremely frustrating, so it’s important to keep some tips handy on how to unblock this chakra. The carnelian stone is known for its amplification of motivation and creativity, so always have one nearby if you’re feeling dull.
3. Solar Plexus Chakra
Self love, self esteem, self confidence. That is our daily goal for our customers. This chakra is appropriately nicknamed the “personal power” chakra and is located in the upper region of your abdomen. Next time you meditate or smudge with any healing tool, repeatedly proclaim an affirmation to build yourself up.
4. Heart Chakra
The heart chakra is exactly where you think it is. Customers of all ages ask our founder, Kanta, about how holistic healing tools can aid their love life- a fantastic question since love for others AND ourselves should be given daily. Our sage for love is the perfect opportunity to think about why you love, how you love, and who you love, and if you keep these things present in your life, this chakra will stay spinning.

5. Throat Chakra
Speaking your truth can be hard, especially when there’s a lot of noise in the world. It’s easy to ask why does my voice matter and who is listening? These are questions we ask ourselves when our throat chakra is blocked. Remember that your opinion is valid and deserves to be expressed. If you feel that you can not verbally be heard by others, write your thoughts in a journal or say them out loud each morning.
6. Third Eye Chakra
Regardless of religion or culture, many people are familiar with the third eye. It goes beyond physical explanation and relies on intuition and that “feeling” you get about something or someone. When this chakra is blocked, we can’t trust our gut feeling or seeing the big picture for our lives. Keeping an amethyst crystal tree by our bedside is a great way to start each morning and night with a clear vision for ourselves.

7. Crown Chakra
The final chakra, sitting at the top of our head, connects us to the spiritual world. This is hard to achieve for most, but does not have to be religious for everyone. It allows us to have an overall appreciation for life and the things we love in it. To keep this chakra open, remind yourself often of your purpose on earth.
